About Us
We believe the best way to cooperate is to share: land, water, knowledge, experience, and profits. Co-farming is more than only sharing. Different projects enable each one to work on her/ his preferences and best skills. Co-farming is a social gathering, a group of people who are still working independently, but who share values, and who are interested in the synergy that happens from working with like-minded talented people in the same space.
Additionally to co-working, co-farming engages the community. By using the legal form of a cooperative each farmer works for his account, yet by cooperating many tasks of buying, selling and investing can be easier and more reasonable through the arising synergy effects. Investments can be realized by including furthermore the sales assistants and the consumers into the cooperative.
By these means a whole system can be created where the loop of production and consumption can be closed and a socially, environmentally and financially sustainable system is created. A system that controls itself.

The Benefits of our Community
The project aims to bring out the needs and opportunities of the local communities involved, ensuring the involvement of motivated and proactive organizations of people to find together answers and solutions. The experience of cooperation between the partners will strengthen peer-to-peer relationships and synergies among organizations, enabling people to develop social entrepreneurship initiatives and a dialogue with local authorities.
Commitment
Other than co-working in town, co-farming needs more commitment, which means more physical presents as well as the responsibility of working in a team, which means obeying common rules and being reliable. Also different is that all the work we are doing is related to agriculture and you need to be devoted to farming, be able to work under harsh conditions and cope with the basic living conditions.
Sharing
All work needs to be sustainable in all senses: social, ecological and economical. With out social sustainability no peace, without ecological sustainability no good crops and without economical sustainability no money for covering costs nor investments.
We function like a family and are responsible for each other. Each one treats others as he or she wants to be treated, with respect according to our common rules. We share the space using common means and each one contributes to food and transport. We can invite guests to the farm but not without letting all team members know who the people are and why they are coming.
We care for the ground we live and work on to protect it form any kind of pollution, chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We do not waste water or any other materials and try to reuse them as much as is convenient.
Instead of paying rents and wages, we cover the cost of our living through our income of selling our yields and services. We invest after covering all costs (including the rent and wages) and then share the abundance. So the importance not only lies in the successful organic cultivation of crops, but also in the marketing of our products. Therefor we cooperate with other entities.
